Heather Landis’ practice focuses on complex business litigation matters, intellectual property and video game/new media industries. She has experience in commercial litigation, corporate control, partnership disputes, bankruptcy-related litigation, employment law, and fiduciary litigation. Ms. Landis advises some of the leading innovators in the video game industry on their commercial disputes.

Prior to joining Valle Makoff LLP, Ms. Landis worked for the State Bar of California, Office of General Counsel, and the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office.

Ms. Landis earned her J.D. in 2009 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, California. While in law school, she was brief editor for the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition where her team's brief won first place. She also was a member of the Constitutional Law Quarterly. Ms. Landis received her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2006.
